Imagine mastering a skill in 2 days instead of 2 months.

With the rise of AI, a lot of us are feeling threatened in our careers.

It doesn’t matter if you’re an artist, musician, coder, or photographer, AI can do some part of all of those jobs.

But if you can pick up new skills fast, you can ride this wave of opportunity instead of being swallowed up by it.

Suddenly, you can get a new job or grow your business a lot easier than someone who doesn’t know how to learn as fast as you.

I’m going to show you the steps to learn anything in 2025, fast.

A Notion user emailed me last week asking a ClickUp question.

They wanted to know how to make client dashboards in ClickUp.

The source of the answer wasn’t important. It could have been me, AI, Google, or YouTube. They would have found the answer somewhere.

Once they did, they might have thought, “Yep, I know how to do that now”.

But unless they actually put the information into practise, they wouldn’t really be learning anything new. They wouldn’t be getting a new skill.

Note: The reader did put the information I gave them into practise and came back with a further question. So now I have to go and film another video!

I didn’t know how to make a good thumbnail for my video, so I set a goal with a clear outcome: learn the basics and make a thumbnail that night.

• I took a quick course
• Wrote minimal notes
• And had it live on YouTube within two hours.

Here are the steps to learn anything at 10x the speed you’re used to:

1. Choose something you want to learn. It helps to have a good “why” behind it but you don’t need it.
2. Outline a project so there’s a clear goal in mind. I haven’t read the book yet but Tiny Experiments by Anne-Laure Le Cunff is all about this. Setting a goal and a timeline and recording the results.
3. Once the project or experiment is complete or time is up, try and teach what you’ve learned. This could be a 1:1 with a friend, as a YouTube video, as a blog post. Teaching will show up the areas where you might not fully understand it yourself.
